i miss the fall leaves...

I really miss Germany today. I miss it everyday but this weather constantly reminds me of the German hills, towns, windmills, and forests. It is seriously magical there. I love it!

Many of you have been asking when I was going to update my blog so I think now is a good time to do that. : ) I've decided to turn my blog into a photo blog to write my stories through pictures. I know I haven't been good about updating so I figured this would be a good way to change it up. I don't have a photography business yet or anything but I will be putting up pictures of everyday things and I'm also open for taking pictures of just about anything if you would like to set something up. Frohliches Wiehnachten

I got to go home for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!! : )
I went home on the 13th and stayed until the 28th. So I just got back yesterday around 10 am but I had such an awesome time at home. It was amazing to see everyone again. Finally : ) My parents were so amazing to bring me home : ) and it went by so fast! But now Im back and ready for outreach! Im ready to take some pictures and be in the sun. I've really been thinking about how blessed I am. And how amazing it is to be here even though it gets so hard sometimes.. I am blessed with such an awesome family who loves me and supports me no matter what and an amazing boyfriend and friends and God has given me so much that I take for granted. It was crazy to go home and have my own room, my own shower, privacy! and my own choice of food : ) It was good to be home and see familiar faces. And Im going to miss everyone again until May! I love you guys.

So,
We failed at finding the Christmas market in Berthelsdorf. It was nowhere to be found. And we walked for probably 3 hours. But then we had a Star Wars marathon which was cool cuz I had never seen any of them. And I used the hasselblad for the first time! It was awesome but when I developed the film it was too light.. so Im kind of bummed about that but Im super excited to try it again sometime! And Im just overwhelmed by feelings right now that I cant explain. Our speaker today was really good! He's going to be talking about the Father heart of God. It should be really cool. And Im knitting a scarf that I had to start over with twice but its actually coming along quite nicely now. So that is basically all I can think of right now..
